Terms and Conditions Update - 5th May 201105/05/2011
Cheshire East UNISON attended a meeting with Cheshire East management on 4 May 2011 to discuss the proposed changes to terms and conditions. A *slightly* improved offer has been tabled by management and this will be confirmed to all staff shortly by newsletter (please check your Fit for the Future).
In essence the changes to the current consultation is as follows: -
1 - The proposed flat mileage rate of 40p is raised to 45p
2 - Bank Holiday Pay -
Christmas and Boxing day - Double time and day off in lieu Remaining 6 - up from flat time pay to pay at time & 1/4 and day in lieu
3 - Weekend working up from flat pay to time and 1/4
4 - Overtime up from flat pay to time and 1/4
5 - Night working (22:00 - 06:00) to include 33.3% enhancement
6 - Grade 12/13 Job Evaluation interface (HAY / NJC) to be harmonised upwards.
UNISON continues to believe that, even with these slight improvements the current proposals fall considerably chort of anything acceptable, however I can report that negotiations are proceeding positively and constructively at this time.
