Consultative E Ballot on Pay in Further Education (England)

We are consulting members in England about their pay so please have your say in our consultative ballot.  The online consultation opens on 16 January 2019 and closes at 4pm on 6 February. 

UNISON’s Further Education and 6th Form Committee met on the 27th November 2018 to discuss the Association of Colleges’  pay recommendation for 2018/19 in light of the absence of exceptional funding , ring-fenced for pay.

Following the subsequent pay recommendation of 1%, or £250 whichever is the greater., the committee agreed to consult members in FE. The consultation comes with a recommendation to reject the employers’ pay recommendation and to vote yes to the following two questions:

• Would you be prepared to take strike action?
• Would you be prepared to take action short of strike action?
